DieCastBlue Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 Hi, just ordered some 50k pots for my midibox, just looked at them, they have 3 legs, some seems to be ground, 1 the variable resistance, and the other seems to be total resistance (equal to if it were turned right up). I just checked a few of them, and noticed they all have diffrent resistances, about 45 - 50K. Is this OK, or are they bad pots to use? Thanks Quote
pay_c Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 The total resistance doesn´t matter to much as you´re using them as voltage-dividers. This means the total resistance does not count in any amount, you´re measuring the voltage between 0 V and 5 V, NOT the resistance.Greets. :) Quote
