best/easiest way to get started - kits?

Hi,

What is the quickest way for me to get a SEQ?

Some post seem to indicate that smashtv sells kits or some manner of parts. Is this true? If so where?

I have been wanting to create my own sequencer for some time. I am a software guy and do not know much about hardware.

My goal is to get a finished SEQ asap so I can play with the software.

Any suggestions? I really don't know where to start as far as parts. Does anyone sell a kit or near kit of parts? Does anyone

do assembly (I can assemble it myself but am also interested if anyone does assembly).

Thanks!

This is a DIY project. If you don't want to build it by yourself please don`t cry for any help in the forum later.

Try to build it on your own and you will get a lot of help from the community and experiance for yourself. And always remember: You live and learn ;D
