Guest nomadicWhale
Hi,I have a very simple midi keyboard with Midi in/out sockets. Can someone please explain why when I connect keyboard-->midibox-->pc I can't use snap/relative/parallax mode.I'm not sure I understand this.If this is true, and if I don't have midi thru socket on my midi keyboard than I will not be able to use them both in the same time? Thanks. TK.
Hi,yes, thats correct. Only solution is a MIDI merger:Best Regards, Thorsten.
Guest nomadicWhale
I was afride of the answer. And what about this configuration (since I don't have midi thru on my midi keyboard):keyboard out -> midibox inmidibox out -> pc indoes this make sense? if yes, will it work with snap/relative/parallax mode? Thanks
TK.
If your keyboard has no Thru port, it possibly also provides an integrated merger - this would be perfect!Which keyboard do you own exactly?Best Regards, Thorsten.
Guest nomadicWhale
I wish. Currently, my midi keyboard is something I got from my nefue. It is not even remotly a professional keyboard. And BTW, it has only MIDI OUT, not MIDI in/out as I mistakably said in the intial postings. This keyboard only outputs.I will upgrade soon, but now I'm investing all my "hobby" budget on the midibox64.So I guess no chance here Aha? Is there any solution to this problem? ???Thanks.
