n00dle
Hey guys, MidiboxSEQ looks awesome and i'd definately build it (i was going to build my own box from scratch)I understand how a sequencer works but every sequencer is different. I was wondering if someone could provide a solution to this current issue.Right now i'm playing pretty fast techno, planning to go live. The midiSEQ looks good for a kick/percussion box, however since im playing pretty fast, i cant always change sequence patterns exactly when i want to. I was wondering if there was a fairly easy way to setup a 'countdown on change' system. Ie, i can select the next pattern to play and set something like '4 bars' '8 bars' 16 bars' or something, and have it queue the next SEQ and switch over at the correct time. If midiboxSEQ cant do this without heavy modification that's cool, ill just have to design my own code. Any info would be much appreciated :)
stryd_one
I believe that syncronised pattern starts are in the works... From the code: ;; TODO: synchronized "next pattern"If you want to work on this feature, perhaps you can collaborate with, and assist TK?
