Jumps to LFO Submenu and gets stuck

Hello all. as an addendum to my current situation, http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php?topic=6443.0

I am having a problem with my LCD jumping to the "LFO Submenu" (mentioned and illustrated on this page: http://www.ucapps.de/midibox_sid_cs.html) and getting stuck there.

My extended control surface will still function as normal, but the LCD will just stay on the LFO Submenu and the 'minimal control surface' (the 5 buttons and encoder for LCD) won't respond until I power off and restart.

This will occur after about 30 seconds of the MBSID being turned on. I'm using the beta14 of 1.7303 on my master core. It will occur no matter which SID i am currently controlling, and if I switch between SIDs using the CS, the LFO Submenu will change to the data of the corresponding SID, but still will be stuck on that page.

Any enlightenment?

When I recently wired up a 74HC165 to the back of my "step A" CS module (and only had it wired in), pressing buttons and turning the encoder would take me to the LFO submenu. I had forgotten to tie pin 15 (the clock enable pin) to ground.

Probably not relevant to your problem though.

You might try the test app to find out if a 74HC165 is broken or you've got an intermittant fault in the switches: http://www.ucapps.de/mios/srio_interconnection_test_v1.zip

Or try disconnecting all the LFO switches/encoders from the DIN module. If it still happens, swap/replace the 74HC165 that those switchs/encoders are connected to.
