din problem, can't find the reason

hi all,

i m making a Midibox Sid, but i can't find the solution

to my problem with the din modul,

when i push a button and let it pressed down

the menu go every where in a random way.

i verify all contact wire and solder but can't

find where the prob is from.

maby if anybody had the same prob, or can

say me what it can be :)

i would be very happy

Hi,

I had a similar problem because by buttons were connected to SR1 of the DIN, which I believe are used for menu navigation.

You may want to try to connect to another Shift Register and see what happens.

i find the reason of the trouble

A pin of the IC PIC was Breaked, the RC one (rd2 on pic)

...  It s better When this PIn is connect To the DIN  :-\
