midibox controler for gt5 guitar fx

Greetingz guys, never built a m/b and I want to start of with something simple, I want to use 8 pots max(witch I'll turn into expresion pedals) and about 8 buttons creating a floorboard for my gt5. If I got it right I just need the midibox plus that offers what I want but maybe there will be problems communicating with the gt5 since its not very flaxible, so maybe I should go with the mbhp?

Do you know where to find a "MIDI implementation chart" of this device? So far as it receives simple MIDI events like Note/Program Change/CC Controller, MIDIbox Plus will work ok, otherwise (if SysEx has to be sent), you will be happier with a MIOS based application
