TK. Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 Today I've tested SDCC 2.6.0 for compatibility with the MIOS wrapper. It seems that all functions are still working... so, these are the good news :)But the bad news are, that I found a bug in SDCC during the tests - see http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1539278&group_id=599&atid=100599So, currently I cannot recomment the usage of the most recent SDCC versions until this bug has been fixedI've released a new SDCC wrapper version v1_9a which got a fix for one of my own bugs (MIOS_HLP_Dec2BCD now working as expected)Best Regards, Thorsten. stryd_one Posted August 13, 2006 Report Posted August 13, 2006 Thanks for your work TK :)Hopefully it'll get fixed before long.... They're pretty good with updates. Quote
audiocommander Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 I've released a new SDCC wrapper version v1_9a which got a fix for one of my own bugs (MIOS_HLP_Dec2BCD now working as expected) cool :)I wanted to access this function in _asm, but it's fine hearing that, thank you! When I saw your bug report, I was very reliefed in another point: as I'm using SDCC v 2.5.4. I have always had problems initializing all bytes of an Union; I just thought I did something wrong ::)Best regards,Michael Quote
TK. Posted September 4, 2006 Author Report Posted September 4, 2006 Just got the message that the reported bug has been fixed in r4359Too bad that we propably have to wait for some months until the next official release (where other open problems are solved as well). However, for those who don't fear the adventure: try the next snapshot releaseBest Regards, Thorsten. Quote
stryd_one Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 Thanks TK!I'm suffering badly from chronic RSI at the moment (i've damaged my rotator cuffs) so I'm not writing much code but I'll give it a shot ASAP. Quote
audiocommander Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 stryd_, I've been really shocked about this, 'cause I didn't know the words RSI and rotator cuffs and that sounded quite freakin'! Now that I've looked them up, I'm a bit reliefed that your heart and brain are okay ;D and wish you a good recovering! (and regarding your number of posts, leaving the desk and going out seems not the badest idea ;) ;D hehe... ) Quote
