davidv
Hi there.Im thinking of embarking on this whole journey. (do both a SID and FM rackmount units). While scavanging local PC recycling facilities ive found at least one card with the right chipson it, the SB PRO2. But what are you supposed to do to to see if it works/sounds fine before desoldering?I just tried FM-KingTracker on an old 486DX33 under DOS with the card inand there are nice tracks, demos and tests (stereo.fmk - to see if all chans work and panning). You can find it here:http://www.kolumbus.fi/sami.wilenius/fmking.htmSo sounds pretty good, i think ill go ahead :)What do YOU use to test cards?
