Testing the OPL3 prior to canibalising

Hi there.

Im thinking of embarking on this whole journey. (do both a SID and FM rackmount units).

While scavanging local PC recycling facilities ive found at least one card with the right chips

on it, the SB PRO2.

But what are you supposed to do to to see if it works/sounds fine before desoldering?

I just tried FM-KingTracker on an old 486DX33 under DOS with the card in

and there are nice tracks, demos and tests (stereo.fmk - to see if all chans work and panning).
