Total newbie to this and any help is greatly appreciated Hi, if you're a total newbie, you would be way better off getting a kit from SmashTV (http://midibox-shop.com/) in USA, or Mike's (http://www.mikes-elektronikseite.de/) in Europe. It is possible to do a Core on a stripboard, but it would be a lot of work.
