Setting up MB CV without Control surface?

Hi There,

I Have just finished building my first analog modular synth based on the ASM2 http://www.elby-designs.com/asm-2/asm2.htm

And have built a basic Core/aout_Lc for converting midi to cv.

I dont have a spare lcd or buttons for the control surface midibox cv offers and dont need anything more than a 1v/oct 8bit cv and gate for midi ch1 and another for ch2 anyway,  so I was hoping to pre-set the variables accordinly to my needs and recompile the .hex.

could anyone tell me what variables need changing (appart from the obvious hardware config settings in main.asm) to meet my synth's requirements, and what the default note range is etc . If i get these right, I guess I could tune the aout by ear playing the same midi on a soft synth oscillator...

I'll try to find a new lcd if the control surface is absoluteley necessary, but it seems a pitty to have to add buttons, lcd etc to a device that is hiding under a panel...  :-\

thanks, but I did build a cs in the end, figured it would be worth the extra effort, especialy considering the effort you put into this very complete software.
