uclaros Posted April 6, 2003 Report Share Posted April 6, 2003 Is it possible to connect a LCD using the NT3881 on MIOS??Is it possible that it will be possible soon??I have an old 4x20 HD44780A00 based LCD but when I connect it to MIOS, the only thing that happens is that two of the four lines turn dark. If I change the contrast they get darker or turn off.. I 'm not sure the LCD is in working condition.Anybody knows what's going on?Thaks! He told me that some guys were looking for a HD44780 Â and tested one NT3881 based and it was OK , since they are pinout-compatible. Posted April 19, 2003 Report Share Posted April 19, 2003 The command set of this display is the same, so it should be compatible.To the 4x20 LCD issue: it seems that not all wires are connected correctly.
