??? I don´t see anything in my LCD. I think this LCD haven´t blacklight option an i disconnect from my MB16E

project.

I measured on data pins an haven´t got anything 0V(LCD), but i have 5v between Vss-Vdd.

I Read the PIC and the soft it's correct.

It´s compatible AMPIRE 162b with HD44780 ?

Hi Mike,

did it work with another MIDIbox? In this case it must be a wiring error -> check the connections again and again and again
