Sorry this post is not exactly about MB, but it is question about PIC burner.

I tried to burn hex code on 16F628A using working adapter, and working PIC burner. Brener recognise the pic as you can see on the image, but it stop responding when I load the code. ???

Is there anny connection with this modification Thorsten did on his version of PIC burner?

Thorsten said"

Pulldown resistors have been added to pin RB5 (for PIC18F) and RB3 (for PIC16F) to ensure that the LVP mode is disabled.

I tried to understand the sprut website using babelfish but I havent got a clue what should I d to program the 628.

Is this (sprut.de):

Such PICs can be burned only problem-free, if first  Vpp (12V) and afterwards Vdd (5V) are turned on. That is not possible  with all burners. The burners 1, 2, 3 and 5 know  with the software the PBrenner starting from V3.4. (older versions only with some types)

have to do with modification TK did on his PIC burner?

First of all, I couldn't get Pbrenner to work for me at all. I can't read german, so that didn't help much either ;)  I use ICProg, it's a bit more anglo-friendly and works just fine. To get it to read, I had to invert Vdd and Vcc in the hardware setup page.

This seems obvious, but you are burning the PIC with a Vdd of 13.1V aren't you?? If it's 12v (as per 18Fxxx), it won't write properly.
