Guest Kayzer Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 Hi everyone,After soldering the CORE, I did the voltage measuring and got some pin mismatches...The pins on the optocoupler socket(5&8) give 5,03 V = OKPins 1&12-11&12-32&11 on the PIC socket give 0V = not OKPins 1&10-10&11 on the PIC socket give 5,03V = ???What could have gone wrong with the soldering ? Any troubleshooting surely appreciated.Greetz,Kayzer
TK. Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 Hi Kayzer, did you plug the 5 jumpers into the programming port J3? Otherwise the power pins of the PIC are not supplied.Best Regards, Thorsten.
Guest Kayzer Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 Hi Thorsten,The 5 jumpers are perfectly plugged in. It must be some soldering flaw I think...
Guest Kayzer Posted September 22, 2002 Report Posted September 22, 2002 OK I checked all the soldering and it does look good... Could anyone point me in the right direction for solving this ???
TK. Posted September 24, 2002 Report Posted September 24, 2002 The error must be between the programming port J3 and the PIC power lines. You could follow the tracks based on the schematic, this will be easier: http://www.ucapps.de/mbhp/mbhp_core.pdfBest Regards, Thorsten.
Guest Kayzer Posted September 24, 2002 Report Posted September 24, 2002 Well, I resoldered the J3 port and everything measures fine now ! ;D ;D ;DThorsten, thank you for pointing me in the right direction.Greetz,Kayzer
