after a loong period lurking around in this forum and learning how to build my midibox sid, i finally finished the basic part of my sid8580.

a big dankeschön to TK and all the others involved in that amazing project i never thought of beeing capable to build on my own ;)

it still has some loose cables, but that is going to be finished soon, when i get  the casing + frontplate

thats the fp design (probably i should get some smaller knobs, at least for the menue):

btw. although it was not recommendend inthe forum, i used a switching power supply that obviously has a good grounding. the SN ratio is great! there is absolutely no humm or noise or whatsoever.  just my 2c on that (from a DIY noob)
