Vince Posted February 27, 2007 Author Report Posted February 27, 2007 Maybe a stupid really noobish question, but what do I have to fillin at the PIC ID Headers?Thank you! :) Quote
bill Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 It's written : "For more information on selecting you PIC header, click here" Quote
Wilba Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 Am I missing some crucial parts? What I would call "crucial" minimum requirements anyway... 2x "BankStick" chip: the 24LC512... this lets you store patchesone for the default preset patches, one for your own creations.2x Cores: if you want to use two SID modules with MB-SID v1, you need two Cores in a Master-Slave configuration.1x "2x20 character LCD or PLED": if you're buying a DIN and DOUT module, I guess you're planning a "step B" control surface. Upgrade to a 2x40 character display for 10 parameters shown at once!1x rotary encoder, buttons, LEDs.The most important thing is that I can use the sid midibox through midi parameters with my pc.... but this is painful, trust me. Good enough to test your SID before you finish a control surface, but no fun in the long term. Quote
Vince Posted February 28, 2007 Author Report Posted February 28, 2007 The first thing is that I can control it with the minimum requirements.Later I can upgrade to 'Step B/C'.So, for a common V1 sid midibox the PIC header should be: 0000 0000 0000 0000 ? Quote
