Stefanho Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 Hi all,I found some time (after 2 years) to take some picture of my Midibox64e. The case is a recycled DJ mixer, so the controller has the same height as a turntable. Frontplate is made by Schaeffer. Via 8 buttons in the middle I can jump between encoder groups. I use it mainly to control Live and Traktor. Regards,Stefan
stryd_one Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 Very nice :) Just needs labels... Although I'm guessing that you know it by heart. Are those LED bar graphs working as LEDrings? I love it! :D
moxi Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 Nice!, I think I've found now some good inspiration for the recasing of my MB64E!
kris Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 yea looks cool dont listen to stryd he thinks everything needs labels regards kris
stryd_one Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 LOL It's true, I have been known to say that before :)
Sasha Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 Looks great! Never thought that bargraphs could looks so cool! Whas that panel white or it is natural aluminum? Are those double white buttons illuminated?
Stefanho Posted March 28, 2007 Author Report Posted March 28, 2007 Hello,at the moment all labels for the big buttons at the lower part are missing (I have to cut out some transparent film or something like that). They are part of the button itself. Above the encoder section is enough space to stick paper labels. For the smaller buttons it was not important for to have any labels, but would look much more professional ;-)@stryd_one: You're right. LED bar graphs are working as LEDrings. The reason was, that i did'nt want to use adhesive to mount the LEDs (I'm using vector boards).@Sasha: It's natural aluminium.
