other sound chips with midi box

has anybody used other sound chips with midi-box

i ve just got a couple of sound modules and i opened one up to mend the power switch saw the chips and just wonderd

i intended to sell these to turn into parts for a sid/fm/sequencer  but then thought

maybe i can use these  bits
