Softins Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 Hi all; I have been thinking on making a mdibox64E based controller for Native Instrument's Battery 3 but, when i try to browse for parameters in FLStudio all i get is the standar cc controls and numbers. Does this only happens in FLStudio or is it just battery that dosn't have the controllers names like other VSTi in the parameters window when u try to assign a contoller?Anyone thinking or have made a controller for this instrument? Also is it possible to build a MB64E with 64 encoders,64buttons and about 32 leds maybe using more than 1 core?
TK. Posted May 12, 2007 Report Posted May 12, 2007 It could be a NI battery specific problem, I remember that most NI software doesn't forward to parameter names to the host. Also is it possible to build a MB64E with 64 encoders,64buttons and about 32 leds maybe using more than 1 core?64 rotary encoders allocate 128 DIN pins. More pins are not provided, so yes - you need a second core. Just chain them via MIDI (-> see MIDIbox Link)Best Regards, Thorsten.
Softins Posted May 14, 2007 Author Report Posted May 14, 2007 Thank you for your answer Thorsten. I just found out the Battery has its own automation page for assigning controllers.
