jrp
Hi togetherI found these encoders, they are quite cheap (0,75e) and contain a push switch.http://www.pollin.de/shop/downloads/D240313D.PDFWhat i can´t read out of the datasheet is what kind of switch these are exactly. It´s labled SPST Push on.Is that a switch or a button?Do you think they can be used for a seq? Buttons and encoders in one is a nice feature i think. MTE
Hithis button works pushed On ... released Off ;) , but for the SEQ you should use separate buttons for the general purpose functions, for better handling.I did this mistake on my SEQ and that wasnt good choiceRegards
jrp
Why? Did you accidently change values when pushing the encoder?
MTE
exactly ;)but look here is a better choice for this encoder button ;Dhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZA25gg70Bc
jrp
CoolAnother idea for those encoders (since they are cheap i´m gonna order some - hope the´ll pay out...)Parallel wire the buttons for the "fast" button. So when turning and pushing any button the inc/dec will be accelerated.
