Hi together

I found these encoders, they are quite cheap (0,75e) and contain a push switch.

What i can´t read out of the datasheet is what kind of switch these are exactly.

It´s labled SPST Push on.

Is that a switch or a button?

Do you think they can be used for a seq? Buttons and encoders in one is a nice feature i think.

Hi

this button works pushed On ... released Off ;) , but for the SEQ you should use separate buttons for the general purpose functions, for better handling.

I did this mistake on my SEQ and that wasnt good choice

Cool

Another idea for those encoders (since they are cheap i´m gonna order some - hope the´ll pay out...)

Parallel wire the buttons for the "fast" button.

So when turning and pushing any button the inc/dec will be accelerated.
