Jaicen Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 Anybody know if it's a feasible idea to power an MBSID via batteries?? What's the current draw on 1xCore 1xLCD and 1x6581?Obviously it wouldn't use batteries, but what would be required for it to use the Bassline engine in a 1xSID configuration?

Jaicen Posted August 21, 2007 Author Posted August 21, 2007 Yep! I've scored a few 2x20's that have luminescent backlights, so those i'd just not have a backlight on. Obviously, it wouldn't be hard to add some SMT LED's, but they draw more current.
