Miidbox Pic Programmer question

Hi!  Would hte midibox pic programmer be compatible with PIC 16f628 ?  It's not listed as one of its intended PICs, but, i want to program the pic for MBSID v2.0, but ALSO, the PIC 16f628 for an LSDJ midi converter... i was hoping that that pic would be compatible with the MB pic programmer..

It should work. You'll need to build the  16f88 adapter  http://www.ucapps.de/mbhp/mbhp_burner_16f88_adapter.pdf

And download the 16F software http://www.sprut.de/electronic/soft/pbrenner/pbrenner2.htm

I haqven't tried it yet, but it should work.
