Hey,

I have the chance to have a very high quality PIC18C452. Is it compatible with the MIOS, or do i have to change something ?

For the IIC Midi Module, i have a pic16F84 instead of the 88. Is that a problem ?

don´t know about the iic module question, but the 18C... PICs are not reprogrmmable, i.e. only one single firmware upload and no way to change anymore. So this has nothing to do with quality. And besides that, as you´re posting in the SEQ area I suppose you want to build a SEQ. The SEQ needs a PIC18F4620 to run, a 452 hasn´t got enough memory.

The 16F84 hasn't native IIC support, and I think it hasn't enough memory too.
