HI everyone.

;D

I have two questions to ask

1> It might seem stupid, but can I use trimpots instead of standard pots?

I would like to gain the space, cause trimpots are smaller than the regular ones.

2> Here in Greece I cannot find faders, what is the normal price for those and

where could I get some of those?

???

Thanks in advance for your replies.

1: Certainly. Also I really would consider using the standard pots, because: Theyre hard to destroy and just because of the space: If you built the pots to near to each other, you cant just turn one really fast, because, youll touch the others.

2: There is a reeeaaaally broad bandwidth: From 1.50 (or even less at ebay) up to 20 Euros or more (like ALPS high quality faders).

Hi cjlargear!

1) I agree with pay_c!

2) In greece you can find basically 2 ypes of faders. Plastic ones for about 1.3euro and metallic ones for about 3 euros.

The metallic ones are sliding so smooth you'll want to use them all day. I have used plastic ones for my MBHP but haven't tested them yet since there is a lot of wiring left to do...

Check "contribution in greece" forum to see where you can buy them!
