flamtronic
Hello:Will drum pad input into the pot design cause problems with the pad input being a spike, and the usual input from the intended pots being a continual voltage? For background, I am interested in building a midi box to accept info from drum pads. I own a Simmons SDX, which is too fragile to perform out with. The pads output a voltage for velocity and also postion of strike. I have (hopefully accurate) schematics for the input circuitry ending in a 4051, which should be the start of the input for the midibox. I would like to split the input to one regular note on/velocity midi signal, and one cc representing the position. This would then leave the box to some sampling software. As I know nothing of C programming or assembler, I was hoping to use the available MIOS for the box. Thanks for any advice you can give.John
TK.
Hi,crosstalk between analog inputs shouldn't be a problem so long each individual cable connected to an analog input (CORE:J5) is shielded to ground.Best Regards, Thorsten.
