Sasha Posted December 7, 2007 Report Posted December 7, 2007 Cool! Seams you are not to far away. Where are those sliders from? How they feels?
cimo Posted December 7, 2007 Author Report Posted December 7, 2007 hithey are Alps from RS Components, they seem to be the best faders i ve bought lately still they are not DJ/scratching quality.
Sasha Posted December 7, 2007 Report Posted December 7, 2007 As far as I can see, they have dust cover. Right? Can you give me RS part No.? Also can you wright more about your controller and software controlling concept. You are going to have LC and MB in same housing with some USB MIDI interface or so?
cimo Posted December 7, 2007 Author Report Posted December 7, 2007 hi sasa (and all)yes i have bought a Midisport 2X2 to accomplish that.I am a bit concerned with the Hardware atm so i ve left apart the software thing for quite a while, please bear with me and i ll post some more details in the near future.Yes they have dust cover and that is very welcome, i ll be using an analog mixer to mix my timecoded vinyls and do scratchy tricks so these midified faders will be used only to set the volume and mix mp3s from within Ableton.ops it was CONRADs and not RS sorry, here is the PN: 441790
Sasha Posted December 7, 2007 Report Posted December 7, 2007 Thank you cimo. I`ll be watching you. I am still cooking my Live controller for a long time, so I might catch some idea from you. ;)
