Numeric LCDs

Hey guys. I couldn't find any posts in the forums describing how to get numerical LCDs to work.

It looks like this little guy, the Microchip AY0438 (http://www.microchip.com/stellent/idcplg?IdcService=SS_GET_PAGE&nodeId=1335&dDocName=en010755), could be the answer.  ;D

Looks like it can be stuck right on the I2C Bus.

I'm not sure if it's any better/worse than the numerical LCD code/schematics already posted on ucapps.de  :-[

Nothing is better than TKs code ;)

This is for 32 segments from 3 lines so it's a different thing really, but it could be used with MIOS I guess. I didn't read the datasheet so maybe it's I2C maybe not...But I'm confident that it's the right kind of gear for a MB.
