Guest SK12 Posted September 25, 2002 Report Share Posted September 25, 2002 How hard ist it to connect a lcd without datasheet (a PVC160208PTL)?It has a sil connector and it has backlit so I couldn´t resist for 4 €.SaschaP.S.: Searched the web, but didn´t even find something on the manufacturer. TK. Posted September 26, 2002 Report Share Posted September 26, 2002 Hi Sascha,normaly the pins are the same like descriped on the MBHP-LCD page. Merely the pins for the backlight are sometimes twisted (+ -> -) . But take care for the SIL connectors if you don't have experience with SMD pitch soldering. Here:my first try - on this way I soldered Tor Arne's LCD (I removed the SIL cable, since SIL headers are hard to find)Best Regards, Thorsten.
