Danke für die Info's. Meine natürlich PIC's und nicht SID's. (Die hab ich schon) :D - Zumindest 6, fehlen also nur noch 2... Hmm das mit dem IIC Module ist schon schade das man hier noch nichts genaueres weiss. Ich denke, oder hoffe zumindest, das ein IIC Module für alle Core's reichen wird. - Falls es überhaupt eines braucht. Die Frage ist nur ob ich hiervon auch gleich eines bestellen soll??? Thomas

Vielen Dank schon mal für die zahlreichen Inputs. Es stellten sich folgende Fragen: 1. Soll ich jetzt schon die Core und SID-Platinen bestellen und löten, oder warten bis 2.0 fertig ist? 2. Falls ich schon beginne. Soll ich das Kit ohne Sid bestellen und die Cores dann selber mit dem neuen PIC für 2.0 ausrüsten? Laufen die neuen PIC's schon sauber? Mit der Frontplatte warte ich dann so oder so mal zu damit ich die richtigen Beschriftungen dann auch gleich draufhabe. Thomas

Hallo zusammen, ich möchte mein SID von StepA auf StepC (Monster SID) ausbauen, bzw. alles neu! Hierfür benötige ich neue Platinen die ich diesmal nicht selber ätzen möchte sondern bestelle. Ich habe die 'plans for V2' gelesen und möchte mich einfach vor meiner Platinenbestellung nochmals absichern da das ganze ja nicht ganz billig wird (mit 8 SID's) Ändert sich bei der Version 2 wirklich nichts an den jeweiligen Platinen SID, Core etc.? Wie sieht es mit der Frontplatte aus? Da kommen vermutlich dann ja neue Beschriftungen dazu, oder? Vielen Dank für eine kurze Info.

No, I made the new V2 (with Alps encoders etc.) like you did. So I use the main.asm. Greetings, Thomas

I want to connect two 24LC256 for my Sequencer V2.0. I connected the two Eeproms like described in the circuid diagramm (Schematic for multiple bankstick setup): http://www.ucapps.de/mbhp_bankstick.html Eeprom1 is A0 Eeprom2 is A1 Then I modified the 'main.asm': #define DEFAULT_BANKSTICK_PATTERN_CS 0 #define DEFAULT_BANKSTICK_SONG_CS 1 Pattern save is working, Song is still NOT working... Are there other files or definitions to change? Thanks for any help...

Ok, thanks. But Eeprom for Songmode is still not working. Have to check wires again...wires are ok. Hmm, could there be a software error? Did someone already used 2x24LC256 Eeproms with Seq. V2?

Just made the Sequencer 2.0. It's very cool! But how do I connect the 2 x 24LC256 together? I made It like the picture I found 'Multiple Banksticks' A0- A7, I used just A0 and A1. But just one Bankstick is working (A0). When I press the Song Button I get the message: Not Bankstick for Song:-/ Could someone help me please! Thanks Thomas

I found the following part in the partlist: for example ALPS STEC16B02 - This is an detented encoder. But in the PDF "mbhp_dinx4_16enc_alps_stec16b03.pdf" is written 16b03 NOT detented!!! Do I have to use the detented or not detented one? What is the different? Thanks, tom303

Sorry, I found it. Is there already a eagle file for the aout pcb? I found the max525 in Switzerland for about 50 Euro each. Do you have a ceaper source? Or is there a way to use other cheaper parts? thanks, tom303

Hi all, when I mute all 16 buttons (leds are on) my midibox freezes after ca. 45 sec. (lcd light off and no function) Anyone knows this problem? - Please help! Thomas

Hi Thorsten, It's not a 16 or 8 step problem. The Midibox freezes when I mute more than 8 buttons. It doesn't matter which buttons I pressed. Hmmm... ??? Thomas

1000 x danke!!!!! 1000 x thanks !!!!! Great absolute great! Now I can also use the new superb version for my tb! :D One little problem. I don't know if this is a hardware problem or a buffer overflow. When I use 16 track length I get an error after a few seconds (cont. reset loop) :-[ I don't have this problem on 8 steps track length. Cheers, Thomas

Hi Thorsten, sorry, but there is no way to use CC to crontrol slide or accent. :'( If you could compile a especial version that would be fantastic. I think a version with 4 tracks, but with just 2 layers on track 3 and 4 would be great. (If possible) Thank you very much!!! :D best regards, Thomas
