  1. Updated the list.

In order to celebrate the 137th day of spreading the rumors of Wilba's return:
As the official, self-proclaimed spokesman of the waiting folk, I herewith want to ask nILS: Is the atmosphere in tune?

Well chosen, the day of the 33rd prime! Well done, dear spokesman!

The atmosphere is still being slightly tuned, but things are looking good :)

  3. Any chance of these having the nice overlays, similar to the previous batch of SammichSids?

The problem with the lexan overlays is that the initial setup cost is in the $300-400 range. For a run of 50 units that'll add another $10ish to each sammich. Generally it's doable, but it'll cost extra.

  4. There seems to be enough interest, because today a carrier pigeon slammed against my office window with a .zip-file attached to its foot. The unzipped message reads:

  5. Hiya everyone,

there are rumours that Wilba will be coming back from his 2 year meditation on the mountains of Brigantia 5 in the Cartwheel Galaxy, where he trained unicorns in the art of origami.

To celebrate his return, there'll be another run of sammichSIDs, given there's enough interest. Consider this thread a waiting list and put yourself down for however many you like.

    Cheerio,

  6. Hiya!

I mean: any problem in terms of noise in referring both the rails to the same GND instead of superimposing the 9V to the 5V one?

No. Your main noise issues will probably come from the switching regulator which tend to be somewhat noisy (audible hiss and clicks).

    Cheerio
