    I checked 2 weeks ago doepfer. In my opinion action of keys are worst than in fatar.

    Personally I found that only yamaha and bosendorfer has better keys (harder and more realistics) but with 10x higher price. I only said about full hammer action.

    I must wait some weeks until I will can think again about one more keyboard.

    Who knows - maybe one day I will ask you about possibilities of buying.

    But for this one who would like to have fatar at home - don`t wait.

    This is the best price/quality compare. And please also take only the best models.

    Like SounDuke said lower models are not interesting.

    No problem man! You gived me a favour with my good wood`n keyboard from Fatar.

    SounDuke please tell us about your Fatar`s. What  type you taken and how you feel it?

    I ask becouse my 88keys is heavy and maybe I will think (if you man steel can help with it) about more portable one. :)

    I can say that wood`s keys are excelent. Of course there is many companies on the world who produces many different wood`s keybs. This one is relativelly cheap and really good. OK I know excellent but 10 times more expensive. So Fatar is best option for any midiboxer.

    Also there exist ready for use code for our core@PIC18f

    I`m not sure but probubly it is in repeat mode: first only basic waveform, next mixed ones. The same is on lcd by rotary encoder or switches. I`m stopped with finishing now, becouse I have no idea how creating panel. Can you share picture please?

    I`m not a prof but I always use this from TK`s digrams:

    - Adjustable Power Supply    (for egzample MF module)

    - Fixed Power Supply (like in core module).

    If you need 9V please change value by pot in first case or simply use 7809 in second.

    If you need more current please use more voltage regulators in parallel.

    I hope it will help.

    i found a psu at a local shop with those parameters: 9V, stabilized, 2000mA - would that be enough? it's horribly expensive so i hope someone will be able to justify this before i throw out money and end up still not being able to fire it up.

    you can easy DIY it. You only need a few parts. Probubly cost will be 10-15euro.

    I was been on MusiceMesse 2007 yesterday.

    I was missing to my wife :D ;), dother  :) and SID of course!

    Really I`m in love to SID sound. Ok there is a lot of many good synthesizers, but

    SID is my favourite now. Thank you Thorsten for it!

    I know this feelings. 3 weeks ago I hear first time sound from my first SID. WOW!!!

    This is better than many expensive comercial synth virtual-analog style.

    Now I have 7 sid chips and no control surface - but I know - I will definitly finish this box.

  21. Midi chain: Do I have to expect latency?

    I noticed differences in latency with only one keyboard ! connected to second keyboard midi in and from midi thru to computer midi in.

    I worked with virtual sampler and hardware sequencer. The latency can change all groove and feeling of rythm. Of course it can be acceptable if you work with pattern style seq, but when you play by hands samples then latency is problem.

    If you want connect for egzample 3 keyboards check this alone and tell us your feelings :) We all interesting in this.

    I recommended to minimalize stuff but if you need use more keyboards please connect it in serial and play for egzample 3 mounths. After this please change configuration: the last one is now first, If you will notice dramatically differences then you will fell latency problem.

    Hi, thank you for giving us chance of lisenning your song :)

    For me it is too short! I also very like delay, and sometimes explosives reverb like in reggae dubs.

    More filters and air. This air can give you longer timing.

    I noticed "something" good who is most important so I recomending you making a lot of songs for improve.
