  1. we could organize massive mail sending with buying requests so that they couldn t find real buyers among the spam or organize a weekly total connection.. can you image the effect of a massive connection of all midiboxer and friends to their server?

  2. hi

i am using one of those hotguns spitting warm plastic that quickly cools down and becomes  something like silicon, those ones you load with plastic sticks ... (well you got it - hope so) .. i fix the bypass caps with this plastic so they stays where it s supposed to be, than i center the legs with the proper tracks and finally (and comfortably) sold them..

    take care

  3. hi everybody

i am proud (just a little bit) to be the first one posting here with a "public" request of sale

1 i had a quick look at that orrible (but maybe necessary) thread about MidiBox and eBay, i do hope it s a matter of the past and that we all enjoy what we are doing.. egoistically i do so and hope all of you will in the future ...

2 i have no selling stuff going on so i am posting here my project just in case i ll have the chance to do it for somebody else and ask a refund for the components + whatever i could get.. hey peeps i do this for PASSION for sound.. if money will come it ll be welcome i have a lot of nice gear i d like to buy to improve my project and also a baby coming in January!! :-) anyway i do not think i will never make any money out of this ... nevermind

3 the MidiBox is just, let s say a 30% of my project, there are many other factors involved expecially my brainwork (yes i saved some neurones from  :) afterhours :), just in case...) so if i am posting here, then you should write me as well if you re going to copy or improve my idea, thanks

    4 i have some special thanks ..

Matteo Bosi from Italy ... grazie Matteo

Rasmus from Danmark ... tusen tusen tak .. jeg er i kobenhavn til december 1 og i ringsted til december 18

    Thorsten Klose for obvious reasons

5 as i promised to Thorsten i ll try to write some documentation about my MIOS application i ll do it as soon as possible, right now i am a little busy with the switch from Windows audio to Linux audio and I invite you to go to http://ccrma.stanford.edu/planetccrma/software/

6 do you want to collaborate? i am into experimental electronic music but i don t really understand what that means  ??? if don t have a clue either then we have soemthing in common and can exchange some files

6 here we go you can see my project at my website which is quite crappy and still in construction but "alive"

                      www.io-sound.org

7 i ll be impatiently waiting for feedbacks i am currently unemployed and have hips of time :-) (feel free to offer me a job as well)

ps my english sucks ? let me know where it went wrong

  4. i am looking for an example how to drive  encoders and buttons in the same dinx4 (no lcd no menu nothing more)

i have 4 encoders and 12 buttons but of course any similar application would do

please if anybody has done a similar project before please help me cause i am at a dead point and it s a pity since i ve gone so far (i ll show my project as soon as i ll got it in perfect working order)

i only need to see a how to write a very easy application that will drive a few encoders and a few buttons (something like th midiboxTC but no menu)

BTW for those who doubt the possibility to supply from usb2 i can testify that a core+din, a 64 MB memory stick , a usb/midi interface and a soundcard can be powered trought the same hub all together

    thanks in advance for help

  5.   hallo hallo

      this is the matter :

i use an audio track midi/usb interface and an esi u2a soundcard/usb to interface mididbox and my guitar

but i got noises by toggling the encoders of the midibox trought the sound card ie whenever the midibox sends a midi signal it is captured also by the soundcard as an high frequency noise not a real high level but enough to be considered a problem

has anybody had the same problem? is it  aknown issue or is it due to my usb hub? btw i run everything on an averatec laptop with VIA usb hub

      thanks in advance

    cheers

thanks to TM cause he s a f00000g genius  thanks to the forum peeps and to mike for the components

can t believe iti got it working so quickly

now i am tired and go to sleep tomorow i ll have to try to program all the encoders and the buttons

....RAPHAELl thanks even irony s appreciated :-) of course i tried to have a look at the USB project for the midiBox but it seems like it s not reliable isn it? there is a guy who has another project midi/usb but 20 bucks for a pcb and 20 for a programmed pic is as expensive as an interface on ebay ...

    good luck to everybody
