  1. If you know more about the PolyVox maybe you would mind giving the people over at Synthmuseum.com a shout. They have this little article, but also ask for more infomation on the manufacturer here
  2. Think you are looking at this backwards from first reading. You want a light to come on when a switch in the door closes? This would imply the door closing, usually the inside light comes on when one of the doors opens I will let you either explain or think about that further. As to relays, one thing to bear in mind is that logic chips generally sink current a lot better than they source it. Would say have a little look into optocouplers though personally...
  3. Been looking around a little for a suitable enclosure to build a MB64E into and most seem to be quite stupidly priced, especially if you feel you're not 100% certain everthing is going to fit right once you have got it anyway. People like OKW are far out of my price range, but some of the stuff my people like Boss and Teko look pretty suitable. Boss can be got at a reasonable price from Farnell if you see one you are certain meets your requirements, and live in a country (such as the UK) where that relates to you, but hear comes thre precious tip: Teko offer to option to have a sample delivered of any items of idividual prices of below £50 on a 30 sale or return basis, meaning that you can get it home and make further judgement on whether it will suit you, as long as you don't makes any actual holes or marking on the box itself. Have found this offer on both the UK and the US site for them. http://www.teko.co.uk/service/sample_form.html http://www.tekoenclosures.com/service/sample_form.html Maybe some of you may want to see if this is available in other countries. Language barriers make it a little hard for myself ;)
  4. If you are to have faders wont you also need a AIN module? So far not seen anybody say it is possible to have analogue faders/potentiometers with a MB64E or rotary encoders with the standard MB64. I also want to utalise both in a project, but starting to think might go dual core as my planned project is going to be fairly large. For this that would just seem silly... I guess it shouldn't be too hard to get rotary encoders working with the MB64, assuming I have understood things correctly from what I have read so far ;)
