    Hi,

It should be a 'Bankstick' issue, the EEPROM(24LC256/512) which are inside your machine. check their connection or replace it.

    Best regards
    Bruno

    Thanks Burno...

Now... I wonder if it's that chip in the picture... this happened years ago during shipping.  Perhaps it's popped out again.

    cheers

  2. Hello beautiful people... my MB808 is not saving the programming.

Am I doing something wrong with regard to inputting or saving the patterns?  I used to just program the beats and they'd stay until I removed them.

Do I need to replace a component inside?

Any tips would be appreciated <3

  3. OK... saving a pattern.

    I've got a pattern humming...

    I figured out...

Press & Hold ALT & Press PTRN - PTRN LED will flash

Two LED's will be lit up on your GP buttons and is where the pattern is currenly saved.

First Press button 1-8 to select where you're saving (A/B/C/D/E/F/G/H) - one of the LED's (9-16) will flash

Press a single GP button from 9-16 to select  the other 1-8 selection

Still not certain which on the memory use... but I'm saving patterns :)

  4. OK... I knew how to do this before... as I've got lots of cool programs I've inputed into my MB808 but I've not programmed it for way too long, and I've forgotten how to save.

I kinda hit a wall... trying to understand how to save my patterns.

any help would be appreciated.

  5. My 12 string is the old Hamer short scale bass (not the Chaparral) - amazing how hard it was to find a picture online, but try this one:

    B12s.jpg

I have that same model, but mine's black.  One of these days I'll get a picture of mine up on the 'net...

    Doug

Man that's is cool!  I bed that sounds HUGE!  Toss a hint of flanger and about a 20 ms delay dayum!  Tuning it must be fun

    :D

  6. Funny story - I won't tell the whole thing, but when I got married last time my wife got a ring and I got a 12 string bass..!

OK man I gotta see that!  Post some pics somewhere... I just finally got a 6 String.  Tried a Aria Pro II Steve Bailey bass back about 10 years ago and loved it... couldn't afford it then, and then couldn't find them because they were discontinued.  But managed to find one a few months back... and grabbed it

  7. Holy Crap!!!  I LOVED that band!!!  Stanley is part of the reason I became a bass player...

oh yeah me too Doug he and Jaco made me buy a bass (or 3) and I cannot WAIT to watch them it's gonna be a blast.

of course Jaco and Stanley the reasons I felt inferior on the bass too

    Keep plucking  ;D

  8. I'm in for a baseboard kit and the control surface kit when you have time... as for professing my love... hmmm I'd like to see what you look like first  ;D  yeah I'm shallow.

    :)

    Steve

    all kidding aside - [glow=red,2,300]thanks SmashTV![/glow]

I'm not sure if this got lost in the shuffle... but just to reiterate I hope I am on your list SMASH for the parts kit.  It seems when I order from mouser they can get pretty stupid... my last order was sent super fast express courier and added $90 to my cost... even though I picked "slow and cheap" mail delivery.

So yeah count me in sir... as a matter of fact I'm planning on building two of these so I'd be in for two times the above requested amount...

    so...

    2 baseboard parts kits

    2 control surface parts kits

    2 of the programmed pics

I applaud you for this SMASH and Wilba

    Steve

  9. Does anybody know the progress on these parts kits? I was planning on taking a couple of days off over Christmas to build my synth and am just wondering if the parts kits will be ready by then. I understand that there's quite a lot of work involved in putting these kits together  so don't want it to appear that I'm nagging SmashTV to get them done, but it would be useful if I could find out if they are going to be ready for the end of the year or next year.

                    G

    I'm with you G

I would like to build mine over the holidaze as it's really the only free time I'm going to have until March 2008.  I wonder if we can do a Mouser project for the parts as was done for the MB-808 then once it's set up we just log in with a predetermined user name and password (MB-6582) and then order the projects.  This at least saves each and everyone of us from putting in the parts.

Or we buy them from SmashTV which would be supa cool

  10. Hello Steve,

I'm Doug, I do silkscreening.  ;D  (And painting/airbrushing, and machine work, and electronics assembly, and...)

After I'm done with the MB-808 panels, I'll be happy to work on the MB-6582.  I already got a copy of the graphic file.  Unless something else happens here, I'm going to fix my own 6582 panel - when I do that, I'll have a screen that I can use for other people too...

Hi Doug :D pleeeeasure to meet you.

    YOU rock don't you know?

    Steve

  11. Here are a few ideas I would like to throw around.

I am sure everyone knows someone who knows someone who does silkscreening.

    1) Would it be possible to have the file available in this topic for those who have the ability to silkscreen to do their own.

    2) maybe someone could do a screen for North America, europe etc.

Looking forward to correcting the issue without prejudice.

    Regards,

    Ringer

Hi Ringer... I'm Steve... Now that I "know" you can you silkscreen a print for me?  :D  Honestly I don't know anyone who silkscreens anything, but this is a good idea me thinks...
