Hi, i made with Eagle a Memoryboard for up to 8 EEPROMS. I use it in my Midibox. It has a jumper ( or switch connected) )aswell for disconneting ( due addressing conflict with other Banksticks). Hope somebody needs them Regards... I²C Memoryboard.rar I²C Memoryboard.rar

Hi, i have finished my MIDImon V2 with the LCD & LED Display. Now my question: It's posible to connect a PCF8583 to the IIC and display in the meanwhile i'm not using the monitor? In the MIOS are functions for the bus, but my skill in asm programming is not so good. I need only a small template for access the IC. Thx for any help.

hi, there is a good program for design the frontplate see:http://www.schaeffer-ag.de/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogsection&id=8&Itemid=73&lang=en You can use in the print option -> tile print. It prints 1:1. So you can cut off the holes from the paper and try if it fits to your assembly. Hope that helps Greetings

thx for the fast reply. i mean if it´s possible to switch mecanical between different bankstix pcbs? Will the core recognize the switch? So maybe its possible to have more memory.

What is the best or maximum for the banksticks? Can i connect different chips on the bankstick pcb? I know that the maximum would 8 x 512 = 512K, but for song data is only the max. 32k. So is the following the maximum? 6x 24LC512 for pattern and 2x 24LC256 for song and mixer? Is´s posible to connect two or more bankstix pcb to the core? So how many 24LCXXX should i order? Many thx

Hi to all, first thx to torsten for for this exelent diy project. I started first with the v2.4 project but after a look to the new v3 i dicide to change to the new version. At the beginnig a had some problems but this forum is very good for solve the most problems. Tip:I get all PICs directly from Microlab as samples for free. There was a hint in this forum. First: I have made the 4x16 LED Matrix and wonder that all are on at power up. That happens in v2.4 and v3. Is this normal? Second : Is there a subroutine for showing System Info like firmware info and usage of memory or how (KB installed)? I have nearly finished the hardware and the front panel is ready for order: what u think about the panel? see attachment Later i will post some photos of my diy project.
