Bonjour, apres avoir regarder de près le systeme d'alim des MidiBox, je ne voulais pas me lancer dans la réalisation d'une alim "artistique" !!! vous comprendrez !!! QUESTION: - a part un transfo classique du commerce a 1.67amp 9v, puis-je trouver un circuit [testé] d'alim a incorporer dans le boitier et équipé d'une prise europa ? Je n'ai trouvé aucun web-shop en proposant de tels...et pourtant, j'ai passé des heures sur google! Si vous avez des liens ou d'autres idées me permettant de "surmonter" cette étape sans risquer de m'electrocuter ?!!!!!!!!!!!!! a+

Gimp > open source graphic software mainly, photoshop for effects (lights...) ;) Trying to understand the Wiki page about MBUCi'm asking myself about wich apps i need or wich is better if it could !!! The MBuc give me the facilities to display G2's parameters of patches and variations... The MB64e give me the power to control any parameters of patches or performances... Hi monokinetik, this is a good question: i feel 2 front panel areas (but it's maybe wrong way!?) 1/ first part is dedicaced to slots and patches (buttons to upload patches, data weel to navigate between, and a 2x16 display for seeing which ones are active, and 4 Leds to seeing wich slots are active or net, and a last button with led to toggle performance mode) 2/ a sort of assignated surface control (like the MB64E) to adjust selected parameters for the active patch...> ENV, LFOs... I made all patches with parameters linked to CC before that, so it should be very easy to assignate controllers !!! (no problem with this part!) As i said in other post, the thing is to use display for everythings, you see it ? anyway, i'll working all the day on that...

Yes Cheater, The MBFM should be ok for that stuff; for C progamming, one of my friend will be my teacher for that !!! I know about logical code cause i'm already programming Java and others, so it should be closer !!! (i hope so!) We are 3 people in Lyon(france) who works on that project (we are all electronica musicians) but one is designer, 2d is Programmer, 3d is electronician...it should be ok !!! have you any web links about this ? other than the website of TK !!! best regards uriel(fr)

Thanks TK, yes, i read it yesterday, it's right way, i spended my time to check if it's what i need... for TK: 'cause i have to control the external machine by 2 way: first is like rattus > uploading patches...and in second part of the CS is dedicaced to control the patch itself > Control CC by parameters defined in the synth best regards uriel (fr)

Thanks for your answer, it's make me so happy !!! :o My project is very simple, it's look like MBGLCD > and now called MBUC, i try to find the best way to use the Midibox system (first reason to post this kind of topic)as i will exactly get a full controller for my G2s... Of course i spended many and many nights over the website to obtain the necessary documents ! Electronic is not my favorite sport (as a lot of people on this forum) but i use my time to learn more about this staff...understanding components, and how to "drive" it !!! It's my first year with building, ....sorry, i'll not talking too much about my past, this is not important !!! anyway, i need to check if my schematic is right and what i have to change before i start to soldering everything... Thanks mate, so i can use only 3 DINX4, 1 DOUTX4 and 1 LTC modules for: - 16 rotary endless knobs with ledrings - 16 rotary endless knobs - 16 buttons with LED - 16 buttons for access to fonctions Is that right ? i'll make an other schematics straight away !

Hi anybody, My first step was (some month ago) to make the point on my needs, i play performance "live" with synths wish is rack unit without any screen or buttons on face (called G2 engine...i got Keyboard version as well to playing by and), the thing is to change patch manualy from the midibox and control by CC lots of parameters...if you know Modular G2 !!!! Hi anybody, I'm using Nord modular G2 from clavia as synth sounds modules, the keyboard version and the 1U rack version, on this last one, the front panel got only Leds, no display, no buttons....So,i was looking for a control surface or something like: http://www.rattus.net/~packrat/audio/pages/g2-cont/ In this project, the guy use: # Atmel ATMega8L Microntroller. 8k flash, 8MHz. # 6n139 optocoupler for midi in. as you see, it's more than interresting, you can see the actives patches or performances in the synth without using a pc (nice for "liveset"!)and then you can select a new patch and upload it, obviously, i asking you: can i build an MBLC and get the same "staff" with programming a PIC18F ?????????????? Right, i hope it's fair enough to work on this project, can you answer me? if TK is in the area, maybe you know about !!! Vous allez le voir vous même, c'est très utile de pouvoir changer de patch ou de performance sans utiliser un ordi (pour le live !)ce que je me demande, c'est si on peut faire la même chose avec une Midibox !!! J'espere avoir une reponse positive (je vais pas pleurer dans l'autre cas !!! :P) Je suis un fervent utilisateur des machine CLAVIA, principalement, mon "liveset" est constitué de 3 modular.... J'aimerai reproduire (et même améliorer) l'appareil cité dans le lien et en faire une version rack 1U pour le transport !!! a bientot ! uriel

Hi anybody, My first idea is to build a dum machine by the way...like 4 sounds/patch : Kick, snare, hithat, perc with some "effects" on each sound...the user (me) should use the controllers in "live" environment, i'll use my sequenceur wich is E-MU XX-7 to track it, select bank and patch... # is this is a good thinking ? (i wish yes !!! and i'm pretty sure of that! but tell me if i'm wrong) # the "effects"control should be: - internal: like Env/Lfo/detune - external (but in the same box): overdrive and and EQ > analog ! So, do you think it's quite easy to make the Mios doing the job for the internals? and do you know a website who sell this kind of analog kit (the cheappest please!) who give the second effects part? # Can i make the machine with many outputs: 4 mono outputs for each sound and a mixed stereo output ? Bonjour à tous, j'ai lu quelques articles sur le sujet, principalement par TK, mais je n'ai pas une opinion très élaborée sur le choix de mon achat: quel kit choisir pour mon MBSID ??? D'autre part, j'aimerai choisir celui qui me permettra (le plus !!!) d'acceder à l'ajout d'effets analogiques et numeriques supplémentaires (dans un 2eme temps !). Votre choix m'interresse, si vous avez fabriqué votre MBSID avec l'un ou l'autre, merci !!!

PROJET ABANDONNÉ ????????? Je suis allé sur le site en question et les ledrings sont vraiment superbes...ressemblent etrangement à ceux utilisés par clavia dans la serie NL3 et modular G2.... Bonjour, je pose aujourd'hui une question simple, persuadé de la réponse à moins d'une surprise totale, mais pouvons nous relier un module "sampleur/echantillonneur" au module CORE, ma question est théorique !!! je sais bien que le design de ne permet pas en encore moins le MIOS actuel, mais est-ce concevable ? à la création d'un séquenceur/sampleur, du type Akai MPc avec la SC, mais 16 pistes ! (largement suffisant !! ;D) Faudrait-il recréer un nouveau système ou travailler à l'intégration d'un module existant (récupéré)? c'est une question à 100balles !!! a+

Merci pour le liens, j'avais juste survoler cette page , merci..., pour le nombre de voix, j'avais bien etudier le system, pour t'en dire plus, l'idée etait de faire fonctionner le SEQ avec une unité SID > soit la possibilité de faire fonctionner 16 pistes midi indépendantes (comme sur (presque) tous les sequenceurs serieux du marché et de faire jouer 16 patch différents...c'est une idée comme une autre même si pour moi, je trouverai la combinaison avec le MBFM plus approprié pour les kits de batteries (indispensable dans un sequenceur) mais ce qui veux dire aussi de prévoir le choix (en interne donc dans le MIOS) de "lier" la piste midi à : soit le sid, soit le FM, soit le output du canal en question... Je pars etudier cette histoire d'ecran large...a+ Ps: pas compris le ps de toxicTV101 ?????? je suis pas de Bxl !!! pourquoi ?

Reponse à ma question 1: Le sid V1 est mono, il dispense l'ensemble sonore du module au travers d'un seul canal midi, les différentes sonorités d'un patch peuvent être "dispatchées" (genre layer)sur la tessiture du clavier (split).... Par contre je n'ai rien trouvé sur l'affichage lcd d'interfaces graphiques completes ...je vois bien qu'il faut mettre les mains dans le "cambouis" mais cela permettrai la programmation d'affichage des evenements et des fonctions engagées avec plus d'ergonomie...et personnalisable !!! de plus ! donc si vous voyez des exemples de réalisation avec large ecran graphique ou si vous en savez plus (c'est facile) sur le sujet, faites un signe ! merci Psss,pour ceux qui ne le savent pas encore: Le SID V2 devrait être polyphonique !!
