  1. The box is from: "electronique diffusion" a french online store. (Retex) http://www.electronique-diffusion.fr/product_info.php?cPath=90_649_671&products_id=16614 About printed label, I will probably not do that, because I like trashy/handmade aspect, but I will do something for sure...
  2. ...next photos... P.S. First DIY electronic project ;-)
  3. Hello, Here, you can see my FM MidiBox. User interface is very practical in use. Thanks to Northernlightx for his PSU schematic and to people who help me.
  4. OK, problem resolved, due to soud card problem... Synthesizer finished, and working fine! I will post photo soon. ;)
  5. Hello, I have resolved my DINX4 problem by building another DINX4 module, which works fine. Now, I have another problem. Two of my audio OUT doesn't work and the sound is very low on the two others... The strange thing is that during old tests, these two audio out worked fine and now the sound is very low. Can you help me? Any idea? Thank you Faton
  6. Thank you Marco, I will do that.
  7. Hello, I have a strange problem with my DINX4 module... I have checked DINX4/DOUTX4 modules twice with multimeter, not any shortcut, but my control panel doesn't really works. First thing, the synthesizer part seams work well (Just the output 3 and 4 with no sound, but it is another problem...). I checked and re-checked the control panel four times... I tried to invert some 74HC165, but with no differences. The first 74HC165 works, the others not, and two buttons seams be inverted... I suppose that DINX4 problems cause DOUTX4 problems too? In attachement you have a view of the dinx4 chematics with notes... I have tested the CORE J8/J9 pins with the srio_interconnection_test_v1b program and I have discovered that the pin J9/S1 doesn't change of state, the voltage is always 5.0 V. In attachement you have a view of the CORE J8/J9 pins checked with my logic analyzer.... As you can see, the J9/S1 pin stay high all the long... I am not an expert, but I think the problem comes from the CORE module... I checked the CORE module, but I found not any shortcut. Can you help me? Any idea? 8. Works fine with 16x2 LCD... 2x40 probably destroyed... :'(
  9. Hello Midibox masters, I'm reading a lot of LCD problems topics, but I can't find a problem like the mine... My LCD show nothing, no characters, but seems to be alive and backlight ok. I get a 2*40 LCD model from "Topway" named LMB402CFC seems to be compatible with HD44780 standard. It uses ST7066U chip, and datasheet precise KS0066 compatibility. He is connected on a simple core module with PIC 18F452. Fact one, LCD connection is fine, checked and checked tree times. Fact two, PIC seems work perfectly, it sends me back a "F0 00 00 7E 40 00 01 F7" ACK midi message. Fact tree (the worst), During testing with MIOS studio debug tool "one time", I saw some characters without any sense... I must precise that I also receive a yellow message in MIOS studio midi in when I boot the core module: [D0 1A 00] Channel 1: Channel pressure value 26 Any idea? Thanks a lot Faton ;-)
  10. Je suis en train de finir un FMsynth et je commence une MB-6582... Quelques heures d'amusement en perspective ;-)
  11. I read some messages before (about NLX PSU): What is asymmetrical? Is it because we have more charge on +12/+9+5 than on -12? Do you think it can become a problem, on a long time? I have done the NLX PSU and I have a good result, I am not an electronic expert, but I was agree with that schematic... It seems to be correct.
  12. As I said to Wilba, finally I decided to build the synth myself without smash's kit... I am sorry for the misunderstood. I will not sell the board or any part. I just change my point of view, because I spoke about my midibox disapointments to some friends last night, and one of my friends who is good in electronic etc... purpose me help to find pieces. I hope it will not cause any problem? bye
  13. I paid them that price with shipping... Do you prefer I sell them on ebay? I keep it, and I don't sell that board to anyone./
