Hello, SOLD I am selling my Midibox 6582 that I built a couple years back. Along with the synth I am selling other items as a bundle. I am getting rid of all my sid stuff in one shot. Along with the MB-6582 I have 2 C64's with working 6581 sid chips, an extra C64 for parts, 2 power supplies, an atari mouse, joy sticks, extra led L.E.D's, wire, knobs, and pots. As well the MSSIAH sid software. The 6582 was built well and works. It could use a little tune up. Maybe some rewiring or soldering from the front and bottom and pcb as well at the audio jacks. There is a some noise. If there is a Bios update, that would be good as well. Truthfully I havent used this synth much. I was just happy to build it and make some sounds with it so I really havent interacted with the interface other than modulating some LFO's, cutting some filters and changing waveforms. I havent got deep into the Midibox bios. Anybody looking to get involved into a sid synth, everything is here and ready to go. I want to sell as a bundle. As well with the C64 and the Mssiah its like a second synth. This comes with the audio video cable with rca and s-video out to connect directly to TV. If interested contact me, make offer. Hello I am interested in Selling my MB-6582. I built a sammichSID and now I only use that. the MB-6582 I plan on selling is fully built but could use a little tune-up. Maybe some new wires between top and bottom PCB as well replacing a couple of the LED's. I am plan on selling MB-6582 with extra LED's, some extra sid chips and other C64 parts, knobs, etc. Please let me know if I can sell. thanks

I just loaded the patches - I just wanted to give a shout out to TK and who ever else helped make those patches - super sick. this machine is raw. And wilba sick sickness on the sammich - very fun build. I look forward to diving into this machine and understanding its features better. you guys rock

i crack myself up, found my problem IC in wrong slot. Thanks for your help. I hope any one reading this by passes this mistake

Ok So, I am at the stage of the build, got my 12v regulated power supply - tested voltage - all good. Installed IC, load mios - installed banksticks and sids - sound good. I am not getting any functions from buttons and knob. LCD works fine. Now, the mistake I did make was put the 6 pin Common bus resistors in backwards - I took them out adn re installed the right way (way to go), check voltage, all is good - still no response from buttons and knob. Can you advise please. thanks. Man just when things were going so smooth and bhaaaa, had to make some sort of mistake.

What a difference with the 12V regulated. All votages came out money, LED is brighter - time for next phase.

Hello everyone. I have a question concerning voltage checks on the sammichSID. Im using a 9v power supply, all check spots on the main PCB that should be 5V are 4.09 and 9V areas are 6.52. On the front PCB 5V areas are 3.8. Is this ok, or is something wrong. Please advise, thanks.

everything seems to be going well, the ebayer ended up replying as well I recieved another chip from a seller named discbot. Very clean C64c with 8580. I cant wait to get my sammichSID

I have some odd things to trade like some cook books and a sleeping bag. Im having a garage sale soon, so Im being creative with bartering options, hell, I got some good unfiltered olive too.

Man I just looked around for something to trade and all I got a which I dont consider a trade is a C64 in its box, no sid, no power supply. If you would like to sell the two and if they work, im down.

hello, just ordered my sammichSID. Looking for a couple 6582/8580 to buy. Just thought I would throw it out there. Located in the states. West coast.

I also did add plexi cover in front of led, which I dig and easy to install. The local hardware store had small pieces off plexi, a plexi knife and some super glue.

I dig the waldorf knobs, I just kind of picked up what was available and what would go with the blue front panel.

Well guys, its finished until the add-ons come. I thought I would share some pics. Just wanted to say thanks for the help and advice to all. Also I had a pre-sleep dream the other day about connect some sort of speakjet module to the d-sub. Would that be possible or am I just dreaming? anyhow thanks.
