  1. thanks guys! it works. I have used 2 channels on my mixer :)
  2. My first try was going to be the mixer :)
  3. Ok thanks! I am going to try it :)
  4. The manual reads this at the Multi engine disadventages: in most cases it's better to center the two audio channels (especially in poly mode) - stereo sounds can only be realized by using two instruments and assigning them to specific voices (-> see CFG page), but the Lead Engine provides more sophisticated functions for stereo effects! Does anyone know to best way to center the 2 audio channels so that i do not hear osc 1,2,3 (receiving MIDI at channel 1) at left and osc 4,5,6 (receiving MIDI at channel 2) at right? Thanks in advance. regards, Ronald
  5. The only thing that I don't understand is how a bassline is used along with a multipath? because in Ensemble > SID you can only select 1 path (I have selected a Multi)?
  6. Does this have to do with it? ABW (ADSR Bug Workaround): (independent from L/R flag) an option which provides a method to overcome the ADSR bug. The drum engine handles this option differently from the other engines. The test bit will be set together with gate for ca. 30 mS in order to reset the oscillator and to start the envelope. The waveform generator will be turned off durig this time in order to disable the sound output. After this delay, the waveform will be enabled again, and the drum sound starts immediately without wacky timings. This approach is also known as "hard-sync", and used in most C64 tunes. It results into a more deterministic sound output, but the latency makes it unsuitable for live playing. So, this feature can only be used in conjunction with the internal sequencer, or with an external sequencer which allows to compensate the delay. Note also, that a part of the ADSR attack phase is skipped (however, thats no real issue for drum sounds...) Due to the better results, this option is enabled by default! Hot tip:: there is a simple trick which allows you to play a bassline and drum sequence in synch during a live session: just add an audio delay unit with t_delay=30 mS (e.g. VST based) to the SID outputs which are playing the basslines in order to compensate the timings. Thanks in advance.
  7. Ok sorry i will search through the manual.
  8. I don't know if anyone already posted this question but i cannot find it. When using the intern seqencer with the drums it does not run sync with other synths while connected with MIDI, does anyone else also experience this? thanks in advance. Regards, Ronald
  9. The sammichSID with his new friends :) 8 may i am going to use the sammichSID LIVE for the first time :) Gear Sequencer: Yamaha QY70 Synths: Roland TB-303, sammichSID, Doepfer ms-404. Drumz: Korg Kpr-77, Jomox Mbase11, Boss DR-660, Novation Drumstation and Commodore 64 with Drummer (MSSIAH). Effects: Alesis quadraverb, Zoom Studio 1201, Proco Rat and Boss GEB-7. Controllers: Mackie 1402-VLZ Pro and Edirol PCR-30. Recording: Olympus LS-10.
  10. I am so happy with my sammichSID :D I used to own a SIDstation, but when i got my hands on the sammichSID i sold my SIDstation immediately (got back my 450 euro's) The sammichSID can do so much more, and even sounds better (also the filter). I still haven't used all the functions of it but some i really like are: -The build in sequencer for the drumkits (you don't even have to send in a midi pattern) -The random function! (even usable with the drumkit) -The looks of the device, especially the The LEDS! thanks for this nice kit guys! regards Ronald
  11. damn! can't wait! nice pictures :D
  12. I pre-ordered mine today :D I can't wait to connect it to my other gear! :D
