Change crossfader to buttons on a denon midi controller
Swiss75 replied to Swiss75's topic in Design Concepts
Hey Antichambre, thank you for the reply I'd really like to replace the fader for buttons if possible. From what you have sais there if i was to connect a momentary on switch to ADC and GND pressing that would mute channel B ? Regards and apologies for posting in the wrong place -
Evening all, I do hope this is the right place to post this I have a Denon MCX8000 and the crossfader needs replacing, however I'd like to do away with it altogether and replace it with buttons that mute momentarily when pressed Trouble is I have no idea how to achieve this and thus i'm looking for advice/help. I did take the fader out to inspect it and noticed it only has three wires attached so in theory it'd be a ground and A and B? Closing the ground to either A or B would work? or would I need a resistor too? or am I completely wrong? Thank you for reading Best Tony

Yes old chap just went over the board searching for wrong deeds I'd missed a few soldering points on two of the RAs and one resistor Have just soldered and tested and all is working. This has made my week

Encoder no5 seems to send the display into meltdown and ends with the display reading 'no songs available as long as the session hasn't been created Please EXIT and create a new session!' Will it have something to do with the datawheel encoder and leds currently not being soldered on

Swiss75 replied to Macotronic's topic in Fleamarket
If there's no interest in the other parts I'd like to have them -
Afternoon all I'm considering getting the v4 boards from modular addicts and am unsure whether the midiphy midi boards would work with the older core board Would I have to get the ones from addicts or will the midiphy ones work?
