  3. Hey all, I have read through the manual but didn't find an answer to the following question: Is it possible to loop step 17 to 32 from a 32 step track without first playing the steps 1-16 first? I am asking this, because it would be nice for me to sometimes split the track in two. Sorry if it is already explained somewhere. cheers, Jef
  4. still have a lot of kits available as most people on the list are not interested  If you are interested you can put your name on the list (link in previous post). cheers, Jef
  5. Hey everybody, I have had time to update the design of the MB909 sequencer boards for professional manufacturing. I have ordered 20 board sets. Once the testgroup is happy, I'll then organize a big bulkorder for the MB909 sequencer. The betaversion for the testgroup will be sold as a kit (PCB, components). I do not have an exact price yet, but the kit will be around 95 Euro. The list for signing up for the beta version is on: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Av9ZyDwCt04MdFB6cTZKaV9uMDF1cWY0X1pBOWxqNXc A few pics, video and info on the sequencer on: http://www.synthage.com/Sequencer/default.html If there are enough people (at least 20) interested I would prefer people that : already have a 9090 and/or TR909 will be able to upload an update of the firmware to the mainboard (this is easy with Tk's MIOS terminal) would like to test the software and hardware and give me tips to improve the design (again soft and hard) So if you put your (nick)name on the list, I'dd like to ask you to send me an email if you have a 9090 or TR909, etc. Cheers, Jef www.synthage.com
  6. I have tried to contact the people on the Google list (see above), but a lot of people didn't send me their nickname. If someone still wants a beta version kit, please email me on mb909@synthage.com Kind regards, Jef
  7. @ Schrodinger's cat: you do not need a 9090 or TR909 but at least some sort of drummodule to control with the MB909 CS. The 9090 kits will be sent in januari. I am currently making the kits and already have 90% of the kits. I will email everybody in december to give a status and request a payment. Cheers, Jef
  8. Hey, I have PM'd or emailed everybody on the list that I could find in my email box or by nickname on the forum. If you have not received a PM or mail, please let me know. Cheers, Jef
  9. @ altitude: as I am using the MidiBox Seq v4 firmware, the "sequencer" is working fine. I have alreade adapted the frimware from Thorsten a bit to work more like a TR909. I am currently trying to make the display (menu) more userfriendly. Kind regards, Jef
  10. I have ordered 20 PCB s to get the price down. So people interested can still enter this bulkorder. Hopefully we can get a few C-PROGRAMMERS on board to help with the firmware. cheers, Jef
  11. Lamouette and Rosch, Thx for your intrest in the MB909. I would like to remind everybody that this is an unfinished project, the hardware seems to be working fine, but the firmware needs to be improved to make it more userfriendly. if you would like to help programming and would like a MB909 PCB (with maybe the components), please put your nickname on https://docs.google....NXc&usp=sharing and email me. Thanks, Jef
  12. Lars, I should need 5 people to make the PCB's affordable. I am now finishing up the current 9090 groupbuy and will get back to you guys. I've also found a way to upload the source to Thorstens SVN server. The files that you can find on the SVN today 20 SEP 2013 under sequencers/MB909 are not up to date!! I will try to update the firmware more when I'll have finished the current 9090 groupbuy. Hopefully we can get this thing started again :-) Cheers, Jef
  13. Hey all, I do not have enough time anymore to update the firmware on my own. That is why I will put the MidiBox Seq V4 firmware that I have changed already a bit, so it works on the MB909 PCB, on the MidiBox SVN. People that would like to help programming are more than welcome. To be able to test the firmware, you'll probable want a MB909 PCB to connect to your LPC17 MidiBox core. If there are enough people interested (but also not too many), that would like to help programming, I'll order a few MB909 PCB's. if you would like to help programming and would like a MB909 PCB (with maybe the components), please put your nickname on https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Av9ZyDwCt04MdFB6cTZKaV9uMDF1cWY0X1pBOWxqNXc&usp=sharing and email me. Thanks, Jef
  14. Hey all, Is there in a menu page a possibility to change the value of the def. port which is (amongst other pages) used in the track event page? I would like to have the OUT1 port set as the default when initialising a track or when creating a session. Thx for the help. Cheers, Jef
  15. Shuriken, that is not correct. My mb909 sequencer is part of the TnineR instrument. I have been using the name mb909 first and that has been approved by MidiBox. You can have a look at the mb909 wiki page on MidiBox
  16. Rosch, If and when the beta test is positive, I'll organize a bulkorder for the CS boards. If people want I can also organize a bulkorder for the components. And yes I have been very busy designing the frontpanel and case. I hope to have the prototypes of both not later then mid September. Lets hope that they are affordable and look nice. as soon as I have pics, I'll post them on my website. Cheers, Jef Oh yes, yesterday I was busy with the "multi drummachine" mode, using my 9090 and reason soft drummachines on my PC. I just could not stop playing with the sequencer. Again with a big thanks to Thorsten for the Seq V4 work!! Cheers, Jef
  17. Hey all, I am almost ready to send out the BETA version kits/PCB for the test group. If you have not yet received a PM or an email, please PM me your email address. Cheers, Jef
