  1. upon deeper searching i found a few tools on this site http://www.tednilsen.com/ one captures data that is availible and the other called a hardsid ripper, only a video is availible but its basically the kind of tool im after is there any app or tool that alows users to see voice data and manually programme that into say a editor or onboard a sammich to use? thanks chuck
  2. Hi Tk, i found a tool called sid2midi it allows you to dump sids to midi or a txt file, is there any way i can decither the voice settings within these files? when a sammich is in sid play mode, does the software allow browsing the voices to see voice settings could this be done?
  3. thanks Thorsten, i have seen a few videos on vimeo in this video theres a dos box that i presumme is all the info being fed into sammichSID, also in your video how programmable is the korg kontrol can it utilise all of the sammichSID functions?
  4. ik is one of my favourite games of all time, is there any utility that allows midibox sid users to lift instuments from sid files? and use in there own compositions?
  5. moogdawg how much is a midibox sid usually cost the builder to fully assemble? something like this one, with no sequncer etc?
  6. hi moodawg, im hopeless at DIY, i spent 2 hours soldering 3 bits of wire onto a battery for my yamaha 4op fm synth, i cant build a box from scratch i am not skilled enough, thats why i have been looking at ready made solutions, fleamarket been looking pm'ing people just having no luck, is there any where else i can get a ready made sid synth to just pick up and play. regarding the sids, i can pick one up from ebay as theres always sids for sale.
  7. i never got a returned pm, thats why i posted on the forums, what other options do i have i have been looking all over the internet. i found a few hardsid4u (just usb audio in also, No midi) hypersid (no audio in/ but midi and usb) any other units i should take into consideration? (not mssiah cart as using a cs4 is too clunky) i have been on the fleamarket and every one i pm'd had already sold theres, i grew up on a c64 ya ha kung fu, bruce lee, international karate, turbo charge, the ocean light gun games, m1 abrahams tank simulator with keyboard overlay, huey (helicopter sim) ace, ace2, i loved very much, i just want to have that classic sound at my disposal, any ideas guys? ps no software either, i want the real deal. Thanks
  8. im not sure if this is the right place to post, but are there any more complete kits availible? Thanks
  9. awesome sounds, awesome composition, big thumbs up i love the sid sound
  10. thank you for taking the time to aid me, im open to offers, but i will also hang out on the flea market part of the forum. to put my incapability into perspective regarding soldering, my hands are not steady enough to even make patch cables for the studio,
  11. Hi, thanks for taking the time to post back, i think i have to keep a eye on the flea market as my hands are not capable to preform any solder duties. only wish there was a way to buy a prebuilt unit from the brains behind all of these cool sid synths.
  12. hi guys, im new to this forum but i am fasinated with the products that have led me here. forgive me for sounding very stupid, but how would i go about acuiring a sammichSID device, or any device that would a) let me sequnce a real sid chip (i love its sound), b) prebuilt (my hands are very unsteady) c) a reasonable (low budget) price i dont really need a onboard seq nor knobs and leds, as i want to control the sid from a midi keyboard. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
