Any pairs still left?  If so, I'll take one.

Yes, I have one pair left. Send me a personal message with your address for shipping to get this final one ;-)

You can pay per Paypal oder bank transfer, depending on your country. Eventually send me your e-mail address for Paypal. It's 17,50 EUR incl. shipping.

  2. Hi guys,

    I updated the waiting list.

Regarding this old waiting list, only nILS should know something about it. Let's hope together that one day a big hole cracks up in the soil and a bunch of sammichFMs come out of it.

@jaytee: I assume your answer to this thread means "one for me" - at least I put you on the list.

Cheers and let's all wait a little while in sleep mode ...

  3. If the contrast of the display is reduced, then the power supply is very likely at its end :-)

I had similar issue in the past, when I supplied STM32 (the old one, not STM32F4) board via USB and had a bad jumper, so too much voltage drop over J17. So it's always a good idea to search for any voltage drop that may appear over cables, connectors ... Now feeding SEQ(Core&WilbaCS)+LPD+TPD via USB without issues.

  4. I currently have only one Ilmenator's TPD attached to RX PCB after 3m of cable.

At TPD PCB I have a voltage of 4,35V, but it still works as expected. On TX PCB (before 3m cable) I have 4,6V, so already some drop from USB input over all the PCBs and cables in the main SEQ assembly. And voltage drop over 3m cable and RX PCB is 250mV.

Rowan: Do you mean your display contrast is reduced? Or the brightness of LEDs is less? All of them or only on remote PCBs? How are your levels of voltage on main / remote PCBs?

Generally, the suggestion from Rowan is worth thinking about - and maybe necessary for bigger remote installations, but from my side I did not see any issues with the current solution and maybe there's a different solution possible without changing all the documentation.

  5. You buy one for him? Shall I ship it then to him or three pairs to you?

Since the boards are out of fab today and on the way to myself, I soon know how much the exact price will be. I will announce it here and then you can place your binding orders.

  6. 1st price estimation:

One pair of PCBs will be between 14 - 16 EUR (depending on customs, taxes ...)

Shipping to anywhere in the world 3.45 EUR (even more pairs together, as long as weight less then 500g)

So you'll get one pair definitely for less then 20 EUR.

If you want, you can refine your postings above about quantities (Edit). I will start a production run of 20 pairs. And then 1st come 1st serve :-)
