Hello oootini, I'm the 'sidCollector' and I just would like the following information; maybe it helps you deciding which seller to chose!? :-) Before shipping SIDs I always re-test each single chip with a specially written software that iterates through all waveforms on all 3 oscillators and all filter modes. Even in the rare case this does not exhibit a problem with the chip (or the chip gets damaged during shipping) I'll provide a replacement of course! No questions asked... Hi all! I'm currently selling my collection of vintage computers. I still have many spare parts left, especially: 8x 6581 3x 6581R4 5x 6581R4AR 7x 8580R5 All chips are fully test (oscillators+filters) and work 100%!!! (and the chips are genuine of course....) The 6581s are 15,90€ each, 6581R4(AR) 18,90€ each and the 8580R5 are 26,90€ each. Postage is approx. 6-8€ (signed/registered letter) depending on country... but I'll actually only charge the real costs. In case someone is interested just send a PM. Pictures of the chips are available on request... just in case someone wants to check if these might be repainted chips or fakes! :-) I will also provide a full refund or exchange if the chips are DOA!
