inteliko
I got an old DJ mixer collecting dust in my closet. One of the channels is dead unless you really press hard on the channel slider and the other channel sorta same issue but sound comes out on left side only unless you press hard on the channel slider as well. Is this as easy as replaceing a cross-fader? Im assuming all i have to do is replace the old channel slider with a new one, or am I wrong, thanks in advance for advice. LenweTasasartir
If You must press slider realy hard to get any sound it You'll have to replace this fader. I think, you can try to resolder joints of this one first. Replaceing slider can't be to difficult, becouse it's exploitation part.

Chances are that the tracks have got a build up on them, you could try stripping them down and giving them a clean, maybe use some contact cleaner and then resort to replacing them if that doesn't work.
