birdsofmyneighborhood
Hi guys,I'm about to order all of my led switches (100 of them), and so far, I though of going with these: http://www.nkkswitches.com/pdf/JBilluminated.pdfHowever, I have been eyeing these from rapid: http://www.rapidonline.com/productinfo.aspx?tier1URL=Electronic-Components&tier2URL=Switches&tier3URL=Tactile-Switches&tier4URL=LED-Illuminated-PCB-switches&moduleno=72855Has anyone ordered these? Are the caps soft? If so, that's what I want to go with. I would just order a sample of course, but the shipping is like $70 even just for one switch lolAlso, is it being DPDT a problem? I thought we should be using SPST.
stryd_one
Have you priced the NKK's yet? I think you might be surprised at the difference ;) (although they are tacts so it shouldn't be too bad)I doubt the caps will be soft on either of these. In fact, that would be such a special feature that I'd say you'll be made well aware of it if they are.
DavidBanner
I've used them. The caps are hard plastic. Also there are a few types of switches supplied by rapid, make sure you get the momentary ones.

But with shipping, the order total comes out to be the same. Thanks!
