Again ... this bloody 0000h error .....

Recommended Posts

My config : w98se / IC prog1.05 / Mini titanium programmer ( a bit like JDM ...)

I succed uploading firms in 16F877.....

But ... 00000h error with the 18F452 ....

I try to change :

- Com port config ...

- IC prog config ...

but still cannot upload bootstrap loader .....

any idea ????

this is urgent i need it for June 21th ....!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OR ... can i use my MB16+ to control AND play 16F SID ?

in fact I need a autonom SID ... to play sounds between my songs .....

here also ... Any idea  ?

Alright, did you also try the "Windows API" setting. And which voltage level do you measure at the MRST# pin during programming? Note that you can increase/decrease this level with the I/O delay, maybe this already helps

.. i can upload in 16F877 in only one config :

windows API - I/o Delay 1 - Realtime -  Enable VCC ...

other config does not work ......

I retry to burn a 16F .... work well .....

But never with a 18F .....

May be a too low voltage on the programmer ????

Sure, you can also use the MBPlus to control the SID. The CC table can be found here:

http://www.ucapps.de/midibox_sid/sid_cc_implementation_chart.txt

How can i make a note on with a button on my midibox 16 ? i 'm using my MB16+ for a while  and just using  it with softwares midilearn functions ... And this time i will use it without any PC or softwares .....

So TK, how can i assign MB16+ buttons and pots tu control the SID ?

THANKS YOU ALL !!

I haven't asked for the MRST# voltage without a reason ;-) The measuring result would be interesting, because it would show if it makes sense to improve this voltage for the PIC18F.

The Note and CC events can only be assigned with computer, a keyboard or another MIDI controller - sorry. :-/

...... some measures later .........

Vss (Pin 12/31) and MCLR# (Pin 1)  during reading ......

the higher voltage that i can have is 11.89 V ........

with Direct I/O with minimum delay (1)

other voltages (hardware check with out pic ) .......

vss-Vdd = 13.28

12-11 = 4.87

12-39 = 5.5V

12-40 = 6.91V

So i think it miss some volts on the MCLR for programing ...

Any idea ?

During programming I get 13.2V, so it seems that the voltage of the titanium programmer is not high enough. If the hardware is similar to the JDM, you are maybe able to adapt the resistor/diode values? However, this wouldn't be a "quick" solution. I've no other idea...

Do you have the 13.2V during programming now, or only during reading? Don't try to increase the voltage above this level, it could destroy the PIC. If it still doesn't work, it's maybe a good idea to try the programmer on another PC (time to visit a friend... ;-)

Best Regards, Thorsten.
